About Us

The PEACH Project is a multi-site study with the University of Arizona and the University of Minnesota with the purpose of exploring if using hormones may help women stay smoke-free after having a baby.

Staying Smoke-Free After Baby

We are looking for individuals between the ages of 18-40 who are pregnant and recently quit smoking cigarettes. 

Participant commitment:

  • Time commitment 4-5 months
  • Participation in 10 remote clinic visits
  • Weekly surveys

Participants will receive:

  • Relapse prevention counseling
  • Up to $690 for their time

An Institutional Review Board responsible for human subject research at the University of Arizona reviewed this research project and found it to be acceptable according to applicable state and federal regulations and the University policies designed to protect the rights and welfare of participants in research.
